The Fink Brothers son ex-integrantes de MADNESS: Chas Smash y Suggs (Graham McPherson).
Los hermanos Fink fueron un alter ego de corta duración creado por los miembros de Madness Suggs y Chas Smash, trabajando bajo los alias de Angel y Ratty Fink.
Después de crear el sello discográfico Zarjazz para expandir la creatividad de la banda, a otras áreas. Ambos eran ávidos lectores de 2000AD en el momento de este proyecto y decidieron tomar el nombre de Fink Brothers del cómic Judge Dredd.
Fink Angel y Mean Machine son dos miembros de la pandilla de ángeles, una banda despiadada de mutantes de Hill-billy de la tierra baldía fuera de la Megacity uno. Enemigos jurados del Juez Dredd, sobre todo porque mató a la mayoría de sus familiares.
Suggs y Carl sobre por qué eligieron a los personajes de Fink Brothers...
Suggs: "Queríamos, en la medida de lo posible, que fuera como el cómic, no solo un disco de un par de estrellas del pop sin trabajo, sino que fuera algo que en realidad fuera parte del cómic, más para las personas que lo leían y para que otras personas puedan tener una idea vaga de lo que es, en lugar de simplemente escribir una canción de Madness sobre Judge Dredd. Nos ceñimos a los personajes porque lo hace más divertido para los lectores de 2000AD, se habría echado a perder si dijera la gente real en la parte de atrás ".
Carl: "Mira, el cómic está lleno de poder y emoción, todos los viernes nos levantamos y buscamos nuestro cómic, así que si dejamos que el frente se deslice y admitamos que fue nuestro, entonces los circuitos de emoción serían absorbidos por fanáticos de la emoción que están a nuestro alrededor en todo momento".

La banda lanzó su único single titulado 'Mutants In Mega-City One'.
El single fue lanzado en 1985 y alcanzó el número 50 en las listas de singles del Reino Unido.
