Obsidian (nombre real Todd James Rice) superhéroe publicado por DC Comics. Apareció por primera vez en el All-Star Squadron #25 (septiembre de 1983), y fue creado por Roy Thomas y Jerry Ordway.

Obsidian tiene el poder de fusionar su cuerpo con su propia sombra, dotándolo de fuerza y vitalidad aumentadas. En forma de sombra puede volar y rodear a enemigos mostrándoles su lado oscuro. También ha mostrado la capacidad de expandirse y cubrir el mundo de tinieblas.
