El Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym es un superhéroe ficticio que aparece en los cómics publicados por Marvel Comics. Creado por el editor y escritor Stan Lee, el guionista Larry Lieber y el dibujante Jack Kirby, el personaje apareció por primera vez en Tales to Astonish #27 (enero de 1962). El personaje, un científico que debutó en una historia de antología de ciencia ficción independiente, devolvió varios temas más tarde como la iteración original del superhéroe Ant-Man con el poder de reducir el tamaño de un insecto. Junto con su pareja / esposa en la lucha contra el crimen, Janet van Dyne, continúa asumiendo otras identidades de superhéroes, entre ellas, como el cambia tallas, Hombre Gigante y Goliath; el temático insecto Yellowjacket; y brevemente la Avispa. Es miembro fundador del equipo de superhéroes, Los Vengadores.
