Su nombre es en parte un juego de palabras que hace referencia al término griego Thánatos, que significa muerte, pero principalmente es una deformación del nombre del dios de la muerte no violenta, Tánatos. Él es el hijo de Mentor y el hermano de Starfox. [Intro: Sample from Avengers: Infinity War (2018)]

Thanos: A small price to pay for salvation

Gamora: You’re insane

Thanos: Little one, it’s a simple calculus.  This universe is finite, its resources, finite… if life is left unchecked, life will cease to exist.  It needs correction

Gamora: YOU DON’T KNOW THAT!

Thanos: I’m the only one who knows that. At least I’m the only one with the will to act on it

[Verse 1: !LLumiN@TE]

Yo, uh

I snap my fingers ‘til the dust settles

Dusk to dawn, tough, gone rebel

Bunny Wailer, Moby Dick, Sailor Moon, Tale of Truths

Chuck Taylors and Mahalia’s hue

Huey P, B&Js. Easy on the black

Jesus—that’s the E&J—like, “Did you eat today?”

You make it out the rat race, some people be amazed

What’s the naked truth? Speak it plain, never be ashamed

No matter what The Spinners say. Salt-N-Pepa

Spinderallas, light and dark like kid in play

A working man at the end of days, my Middle

Passage is a triangle in the center of an A

When the hay is for Avengers, you can feel

The Earth, Wind & Fire in “September.” Never forget

Do you remember? I got “99 Problems” to

Consider. That’s 9 11s, but I’m a 7, so…

[Hook: !LLumiN@TE]

I snap my fingers ‘til the dust settles

‘Til the dust settles. Now watch me settle into dust, yo

I snap my fingers ‘til the dust, ‘til the dust, ‘til the

Dust settles. Now watch me settle into dust, yo

I snap my fingers ‘til the dust settles

‘Til the dust settles. Now watch me settle into dust, yo

I snap my fingers ‘til the dust, ‘til the dust, ‘til the

Dust settles. Now watch me settle into dust

[Verse 2: REG (Rhyme Equals Greatness)]

Yeah, uh

Yo, these niggas should have gone for the head

I was born and was bred to get it on for this bread

The boy made a pledge to dust ‘em off. Brainstorm

Make it Rain Man, young Dustin Hoffman

With the plan. In this contest of champions, there’s a Secret

War that’s beneath us all, under the surface

Silver-Surfing through the game, trying to beat the board, you gon’

Juggernaut, trying to breach the door. Blame the effects

But niggas couldn’t see the cause. Get Stretched, man

It’s Armstrong—what you reaching for? Yo, bust caps

Got the hammer like if he was Thor, but I must scrap

Like the Vulture—peep the weight in claws. Spit at ‘em like

An alpaca. I’ll write an Anti-Life Equation—it is

Now mastered. A proud bastard, dust your shoulders off

When I snap Venom in your hood and have him

Like, “Mr. Stark, I don’t feel so good”

[Hook: SciryL]

I’m kind of drunk, I hope my stomach settles. I hope my

Stomach settles and I get better than I was—uh

I’m kind of drunk, I hope my stomach settles. I hope my

Stomach settles and I get better than I was—uh

I snap my fingers ‘til the dust settles

‘Til the dust settles and watch it settle into dust, yeah

I snap my fingers ‘til the dust settles

‘Til the dust settles. I’m just a bezel in the rough

[Verse 3: SciryL]

Yo, I watched the bass settle on a beat

As the trebling erupts, the troubling erupts

I settle in the pocket, could never get enough

Sentimental as I get into this stuff—huh! You said it

With your chest. I said it with my gut. Some niggas get

Called ass and set it with the butt of the gun

Knowing if they shoot, the slums’ll erupt. One body

Bunch of young niggas running amok. It’s camaraderie—huh!

It’s one line around the block to see they’re now deceased

It’s one-time surrounding the block, and they’re shouting, “Freeze”

Huh! Whoever saw a fountain freeze? Yo

You ever saw a Malcolm preaching, leaning with the pistol out

The window like he’s ‘bout to squeeze? Imagine Martin

On Remy, without A Dream. Imagine Semi with Eddy and

Not Hakeem. He’s not a King, Magic passing without

Kareem. Alkaline or alkylene, clean or fiend and not

Between

[Hook: SciryL]

I’m kind of drunk, I hope my stomach settles. I hope my

Stomach settles and I get better than I was—uh

I’m kind of drunk, I hope my stomach settles. I hope my

Stomach settles and I get better than I was—uh

I snap my fingers ‘til the dust settles

‘Til the dust settles and watch it settle into dust, yeah

I snap my fingers ‘til the dust settles

‘Til the dust settles. I’m just a bezel in the rough
